Dr. Saumeel Mehta has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2006. He joined Sunshine Pediatrics of Florida in February 2010 and operates across the Lutz, Tampa, and Wesley Chapel locations, providing board-certified care.
Born in India and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Mehta is committed to providing children with a medical home where they can feel safe and supported. He focuses on active childhood lifestyles, chronic disease prevention, and preventive screening during growth milestones.

Personal Life & Interests
Dr. Mehta is married to Vaishali Mehta, a talented local artist. Vaishali's artwork is a key part of the welcoming atmosphere at Sunshine Pediatrics; she painted the beautiful murals that decorate the walls of the Lutz clinic office. Together, they have three wonderful children.
When he is not in the office caring for patients, Dr. Mehta has a wide range of active interests. He enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring new technologies, photography, and watching sports.
