We accept all major private insurances (including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, United Healthcare, etc.) as well as Florida Medicaid plans. Please call our office at (813)-948-2679 before your visit to verify your specific plan benefits.

For life-threatening emergencies, always dial 911. For urgent matters after regular clinic hours, you can reach our on-call pediatric provider by calling the main office line at (813)-948-2679. Follow the prompts to leave an urgent message, and a provider will return your call promptly. Additionally, you can use the Teddy Chat symptom checker in the bottom left of our homepage for pediatric symptom guidance.

To request medical records, you must complete and sign a Medical Records Release Form, which can be picked up at any of our offices. Please note that record releases may take up to 7-10 business days to process and may incur a standard administrative fee depending on the volume of records requested.

Sunshine Pediatrics of Florida follows the immunization schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We firmly believe that vaccines are safe, effective, and crucial for protecting your child and the community. If you have questions or concerns about the vaccine schedule, our pediatricians are happy to discuss them during your visit.
