Sunshine Pediatrics of Florida has been a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), certified by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) since 2017. The practice was established as a part-time clinic in 2007 by Dr. Payal Patel and transitioned into a full-time practice when Dr. Saumeel Mehta joined in 2010. Since then, we have expanded to multiple locations across Hillsborough and Pasco counties, serving communities such as Lutz, Land O’ Lakes, Trinity, New Port Richey, Spring Hill, Carrollwood, Temple Terrace, Tampa, Wesley Chapel, San Antonio, Dade City, Riverview, Westchase, Odessa, and surrounding areas.

We participate with most major private insurance plans and Medicaid to ensure our care remains accessible to all families in our communities.
